Built by artists who wanted rarity to mean something again.

Kage Collective was founded in 2022 by a small team of concept artists and engineers who had grown tired of generative collections that shipped hundreds of near-identical pieces. Neo Kensei was built the opposite way: every warrior is composed from a curated trait library of over 200 hand-drawn components, checked individually for silhouette and readability before it's allowed into the mint.

Each Kensei carries a Bushido virtue — Honor, Discipline, Courage, Compassion, Sincerity, Loyalty, or Respect — encoded into its trait set and reflected in its on-chain metadata.

Where the collection is headed

  1. Phase 01

    Genesis Mint — complete

    All 500 Kensei minted at launch, sold out in 4 hours. Secondary trading opened same day.

  2. Phase 02

    Dojo Club — live

    Holders unlock a private Discord dojo, monthly artist AMAs, and voting rights on future trait drops.

  3. Phase 03

    Animated Companion Set — in development

    A free animated companion NFT airdropped to every Mythic holder, expanding to Epic in a later wave.

  4. Phase 04

    Neo Kensei: Chapter Two — planned

    A narrative-driven sequel collection exploring the world the Kensei protect, with holder-exclusive early access.

Is the mint still open?

No — all 500 Neo Kensei were minted at genesis. Collection pieces are only available on the secondary market.
